textfixer.com’s “Convert Word Doc to HTML” is the tool I’ve been looking for.
- Copy and Paste Word Doc contents into the box on the page
- Click the “Convert Word to HTML”
- The resulting HTML only contains simple formatting, such as paragraphs, bolds, italics, etc.. All of the other Word Doc formatting is stripped away.
This really speeds up the process of taking something from Word and fitting it into an HTML document in a clean manner.

I created this little website so that we can help stop this horrible epidemic:
How to Get Good at Making Money [Inc.com]
Entrepreneur Jason Fried offers the most fundamental of all small-business advice: how to get good at making money.
With the help of this YouTube tutorial and a $25 part of eBay, I’ve got a brand new screen on my Galaxy S3.
(this is not my video, but the tutorial I used to successfully replace my screen. Thanks!)
Read the comments on the YouTube video for common issues and tips.
Important: Patience, Gentle, Patience….
If your touch screen is not working, replacing the $25 glass will not solve your problem. You will need more of a $300 fix.
Be careful with sharp objects near the home and back buttons. The wires for them come VERY close to the glass and edge.
Try and use the minimum amount of heat needed with the hair dryer. Common complaints are that there is discoloration for those who overheated their phone during the process.
You are obviously voiding your warranty, but doing a $25 repair when most places will quote around $300.
Is this what finally kills the mouse? I can’t imagine using touchscreens all day at the office. That’s where Leap Motion comes in. With 200X resolution of an XBOX Kinect controller, it allows amazing, natural control of your computer. Available for pre-order now, shipping in early 2013.
“This book will make you uncomfortable.
Depending on what you do all day, it might make you extremely uncomfortable.
That’s a very good thing, because you deserve it. We all do.
Jason and David have broken all the rules and won. Again and again they’ve demonstrated that the regular way isn’t necessarily the right way. They just don’t say it, they do it. And they do it better than just about anyone has any right to expect.
This book is short, fast, sharp and ready to make a difference. It takes no prisoners, spares no quarter, and gives you no place to hide, all at the same time.
There, my review is almost as long as the first chapter of the book. I can’t imagine what possible excuse you can dream up for not buying this book for every single person you work with, right now.
Stop reading the review. Buy the book.” –Seth Godin

A behind the scenes walk-through of how we redesigned the user interface of our AllClients CRM’s Landing Page designer:
I’ve used AdBlock Plus for years to remove annoying ads from websites. It makes reading and surfing so much more efficient and enjoyable.
You can enable/disable AdBlock for individual sites. (I do disable AdBlock for sites that I really want to support.)
